Peter J. Fazey

Peter Fazey is a manipulative physiotherapist in private practice with over twenty five years clinical experience in the management of musculoskeletal conditions. Since 1993 he has also been increasingly involved in the clinical education of physiotherapists at both an undergraduate and postgraduate level. He is an active member of the Australian Physiotherapy Association [APA] and Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy Australia, serving on numerous state and national committees. Peter was elected to the National Board of Directors of the APA in 2003 in recognition for his contributions to the profession in Australia, and is the national President of the APA (2007-8). Peter was inducted into the Australian College of Physiotherapy as a Fellow in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy, following completion of College examinations in 2007.

His particular interest lies in clinical reasoning as it relates to the manual therapy management of musculoskeletal pain disorders and for his PhD, will examine deformation of the human lumbar IVD using MRI investigations.
