The Collaborative Training and Education Centre [CTEC] has been established through a joint initiative between the University of Western Australia, The Royal College of Surgeons [London], The Royal Australasian College of Surgeons, The Health Department [WA] and the Department of Anatomy & Human Biology [ANHB], UWA.
This new facility, commissioned early in 2000, is situated adjacent to the the Department of Anatomy & Human Biology on the Crawley campus.
CTEC will provide a forum for 'state of the art' medical and surgical skills training facilities, along with resources for research into human clinical anatomy. Opportunity for jointly supervised anatomical research projects will be supported as a collaboration between the Centre for Muscuolskeletal Studies and the Department of Anatomy & Human Biology.
